Luego de dos semanas de ausentarme por estos lados, primero por estar enferma y luego por no tener computador ¡al fin he vuelto! Que es lo importante.

Como segundo martes de #PostLibre les traigo:

Mientras creaba esta entrada, la cual solo iba a ser un top 5, me di cuenta de que he leído varios/muchos libros, sin embargo, son pocas las sagas que entran en mis lecturas y que, además, todos los libros me gusten, así que como resultado de toda mi indagación, ~~con ayuda de Goodreads,~~ les traigo este Top10 solamente de sagas. Espero que les guste y no duden en comentar cuales serían su Top10 o si coincidimos en alguna :) Y no olviden participar en el segundo sorteo del blog que tiene como premio opcional ¡cualquier libro de vuestra predilección!

10. The mortal instruments de Cassandra Clare

Tengo una historia tan especial con esta saga, han sido los primeros y únicos libros que he leído de Cassandra, pero lo más "gracioso" es que leí el primer libro semanas antes de que saliera la película Cazadores de Sombras y solamente porque mi mejor amiga de ese entonces quería que la acompañara a verla, me hizo leer el primero y luego no pude parar, al fin de cuentas, terminé leyendo toda la saga y me encantó, son de esos libros que recomiendo sin dudas, y si bien creo que debería leerme los otros que tienen relación con esta, por alguna razón simplemente no puedo.

9. The Grey Wolves de Quinn Loftis

Creo que nunca entenderé el porqué me gustó tanto, pero me fascinó, cuando la leí estaba de moda leer libros con lobos o vampiros, no quería nada parecido a Crepúsculo porque no me gustaba, pero igual terminé leyendo una saga completa de lobos con machos alfas. Al igual con Cassandra, solo he leído esta saga de Quinn pero es de esas que me encantan y que sin dudas volvería a leer.

8. Guild Hunter de Nalini Singh

Esta saga no recuerdo porqué la comencé, pero sí sé el porqué la terminé. Guild Hunter es una saga con mucha mitología, hay ángeles, vampiros y también está Naasir, lo amo <3. Al principio solo leí los tres primeros, pero en lo personal no me llamaron mucho la atención, luego llegué al cuarto y no pude leer, ya para cuando estaba en el octavo, solo quise más y ahora solo estoy a la espera del noveno. Si a alguien le gusta este tipo de libros o si quiere leer algo diferente, definitivamente esta es una saga que leer.

7. Stage Dive de Kylie Scott

Stage Dive es tan genial, incluso la he leído más de una vez de lo mucho que me gusta. Siempre voy a tener una debilidad por los músicos, y Kylie hizo que me gustaran aún más. No tengo muchas palabras para esta saga, pero simplemente me gusta.

6. Runaway Train de Katie Ashley

Runaway Train, amo a Jake, aunque a veces le da por ser un poco terco. Además, Katie es de mis autoras favoritas así que no amar uno de sus libros me es difícil. Más músicos para este Top10. Y definitivamente no tengo muchas palabras para esta saga, pero sí, se las recomiendo.

5. On Dublin Street de Samantha Young

Esta es de esas sagas que parece nunca terminar, pero que aún así todos los libros he incluso los .5 son buenos. Tiene una diversidad de personajes que hace que cada historia sea genial, además, aunque te quedas con ganas de saber qué sucede con los personajes de un libro, en el próximo sí o sí sacias tus ganas. Se las recomiendo.

4. Marked Men de Jay Crownover

Me encanta a Jay C., no puedo evitarlo, además que hace poco tuve la posibilidad de leer su próximo libro y ... ¡me encanta más! Pero en fin, esta saga tiene muchos hombres atractivos tatuados los cuales hacen imposible el no quererlos de alguna u otra forma, además, las chicas no se quedan atrás, cada una tiene la personalidad perfecta para manejar a este grupo de chicos.

3. Hush Hush de Becca Fitzpatrick

Era obvio que Becca estaría en mi Top10, me enamoré de Patch al igual que muchas, y por alguna razón no tan inexplicable, sigue siendo de mis favoritas. Aunque la recomiendo, sé que son muy pocos los que no la han leído, pero aún así, esos deberían leerla.

2. Lux de Jennifer L. Armentrout

Jennifer, Jennifer, Jennifer... esta mujer hace libros tan perfectos que uno no sabe que hacer con ellos. Daemon Black es... tan tonto que enamora, su problema de macho alfa llega a ser tan cargante que me gustó, aunque si bien hubo momentos donde no me gustó mucho el personaje de Kat, al final fue imposible que no me quedara gustando. Si aún no la han leído, ¡háganlo! Para bien o para mal quedarán con un sentimiento hacia esta saga.

1. Forbidden Men de Linda Kage

Y por último mi Top10. Los chicos prohibidos de Linda. Es que ¡amo esta saga! Es que estos siete chicos, aún no sale el octavo, te hace imposible no leerla completa. Y lo mejor es que ¡tengo el primer libro autografiado por la autora! Me encanta, la recomiendo sí o sí.

Drop Dead Sexy is the new book by Katie Ashley and it was released yesterday! First, thanks to Katie and The Next Step PR for this amazing opportunity.

So. This book is a hilarious, romantic, and drop dead sexy story, and well, so much more!! It’s not my first read by Katie, I’ve already read a few of her books, so she’s not a new author for me. That was one of the reason I really wanted to read this one.

Olivia Sullivan has a work I don’t envy, at all —seriously, work with dead people? I’m not against death but I would rather like it not surrounding me. Olivia, our main character, is a mortician —the family business. So since she was a kid she does know how to run a funeral. At having that kind of work is a little —much— hard to find a man. So her love/sex life is… not the best. But when after a long of you-know-what, she —finally!— decides to go out and find someone for a one-night stand. How does that result? Bad. Just kidding, she gets what she’s looking for, but… the problem is that she gets a lot more —in a pretty good way.

When Olivia meets Holden Caulfield Mains AKA Catcher —let me stop here, please. First time I understand this kind of reference! As a fact, Catcher in the Rye is one of my readings for my English and Spanish Contemporary Literature class and I’ve just present J.D. Salinger’s life and works in my class, so I’m happy to get the reference. Anyway, she meets Catcher, a sexy, sexy man, who has a filthy-dirty mouth. And for who a one night thing —and many orgasms— it’s not enough! —such a man. So he makes his way to one of Olivia’s cases. And now their paths join together. Not all is sex —or was it? However, all the mystery in the investigation gives to this book an amazing plus to the main plot.

What more can I say? This is a really sexy romance story, so if you’re looking for a good read, try this one. It has many funny moments which were my favorites, along with others. But in general, I enjoyed Katie's book.

P.S. It has many scenes for +18, but if you’re younger and don’t care for that, give it a chance ;)

P.S.2. Their first meeting, omg! I love Catcher.
