Wow. Just like that. This book it's been one of the best fantasy —more like sci-fiction— books I've read in a while. Fear My Mortality is Everly Frost's debut novel; a fantasy/sci-fiction young adult story which it's supposed to be a trilogy —I think it is not sure yet. Anyway, I have no idea when the second is coming up, but I'm looking forward for it!

Everly plunges us into the life of a sixteen-years-old girl, Ava, who lives in a world/reality where if you die —or whatever event where you result injured in any way— you can regenerate. Something cool, right? Yes, but not for Ava. It seems like she and her brother are the only ones who can't. A journey that we —Ava, a really sexy boy, and us— take to discover/find out the true behind all this.

The entire main plot was well designed, also it is interesting. Plus, the characters made the story so much better, their personalities, and all. But at the end, the plot was the center of all, the why this story begins in first place —yeah, I know, that's what being a plot mean, but hey! This was such a good plot, I can't put out of my mind. 

Overall, this book was fantastic, from the very beginning I was drawn by it. So I was on the edge of my seat the whole story! Always wanting to know why! However, I highly recommended it, do you like young adult sci-fiction with some romance scenes? Go for it. So give it a chance, you'll not disappoint. Happy and amazing debut Everly!

Everly Frost wrote her first story when she was nine. She grew up in a country town, lived for a little while in Japan, and worked for several years in Canberra, Australia's capital city. Now, Everly lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband and two children. She doesn't speak Japanese so often anymore, has left the cold Canberra winters behind, but has never stopped writing.
