In Kiss Cam, teen author Kiara London asks, what’s a little harmless kissing between friends?
Juniper, Jasper, and Lenny have been friends forever and co-own a vlog channel called WereVloggingHere. Their fans are huge “shippers” who believe that Juniper and Jasper are perfect for each other, and, despite warnings from friends and family, a simple Truth-or-Dare inspired kiss soon spirals out of control into a whole new world of making out and surprise kisses.
Juniper and Jasper’s relationship begins to shift. But as fan requests for different “Kiss Cam” segments keep pouring in, Juniper puts her worries aside and convinces herself that it doesn’t mean anything. After all, it’s just kissing… right?

** I RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE OF AN HONEST REVIEW **
Young Adult genre has so many swoon stories, there is that young love most of us want/ed, sometimes, it is so incredible that it makes you fall hard into the whole idea that comes with it. You know, I think there is something that even New Adult genre cannot have, because YA is so cute.
KISS CAM is a YA romance, where three friends have their chances to share videos about them doing crazy/stupid/silly things and sometimes those videos are just about their lives. Juniper, Jasper, and Lenny have been friends for a really long time, and they believe in that friendship, as in we-are-friends/siblings-and-nothing-more, well, at least from Juniper and Jasper's perspective.
Sometimes, a simple dare can be just that, but maybe when it involves a we-are-not-friends kind of kiss, that kiss could chance something inside you, or revive a feeling you thought was hidden deep in you. Even if you try really hard to deny it, there are moments when you just have to accept it and be happy. Yes, I know, it is easier said than done, and that is why this book is amazing!
friends + feelings + kisses + a camera = KISS CAM
These three characters -even if the book is about two of them- are so great and well-described, as in they are funny, cute and sexy, and best of all, they care for each others. And reading about how their friendship went through a rough period and how everything changed, was kind of sad and incredible, I was sad for Juniper but amazed for how all ended.
KISS CAM is a sweet, funny, cute, happy romance about one of the most incredible young couple! Kiara did such an amazing job with their personalities and how they complemented each others, how they interacted and how they were fantastic when together, overall, how she wrote the whole story. I seriously want Lenny's story because he was not let alone along the book but I think his story would be interesting to know and read. So as you can see, I truly highly recommend it to those who like YA romance, or just a cute story. I know there would be more than just an smile from you.
Book: +4 kissable stars

#MeetTheAuthor!
Kiara London is the internet savvy, hopelessly romantic alter ego of Bethany Novak-Tveten, who in real life is part of the US Air Force. She started writing on the online writing site Booksie when she was thirteen and then transferred to Wattpad where her debut novel Kiss Cam was originally posted. She spends most of her time scrolling down Tumblr, attempting to read everything she can get her hands on, and drooling over fictional men.
Great review! This sounds like a super fun and sweet read! Glad you liked it! :)
