Little does he know that Devyn’s been keeping a secret from him all these years. A big secret. How I can say it without sound harsh... it doesn't have plot other than a specific event that doesn't take you beyond a few chapters. Sometimes I love stories with a happy ending, but for some reason this one wasn't what I excepted.

Two friends that met in their first year at college, they keep a only-friendly relationship for a few years, although, he from the very beginning makes clear that he wants more than friendship from her, but when he knows why she just needs a friend in that moment, he accepts it, and they become best friend despite the fact that no-one believes them— until when she decided she must loss her V-card before college ends, and asks him to help her, and maybe the fact that he's a manwhore convinces her that he's perfect for what she needs —but, why they're always somebody's best friend to who they ask?

After a pseudo night of passion, he thinks the best would be cut all ties, so he avoid her, to the point that both take separate ways.

Then, five years later they meet again, now both of them are adults with jobs and responsibilities —one more than the other. Anyway, he decide that he is going to fight for her love, and will do everything and anything to have her back.

All in all, if someone looks for a love story with a happy ending, definitely should read this one, I can't deny I enjoyed and I totally recommend, is a short story. And it has both characters' POV, which makes the story more understandable and easier.

New Adult —firsts chapters—, and Adult —the rest.
