The Wedding Date is Kelly's debut novel, and it's a contemporary comedy romance. I really liked and enjoyed it, it’s a sexy romance. And if it’s true I’ve been reading a lot of contemporary romance, and maybe all them are a little similar or their plots are pretty similar somehow, I loved this book; and the best was that it was a non-stop reading, and that was good.

REVIEW
** I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review **
The Wedding Date is Kelly's debut novel, and it's a contemporary comedy romance. I really liked and enjoyed it, it’s a sexy romance. And if it’s true I’ve been reading a lot of contemporary romance, and maybe all them are a little similar or their plots are pretty similar somehow, I loved this book; and the best was that it was a non-stop reading, and that was good.
Kelly plunges us into James and Kate’s lives.
However, I think the book was more like a second chance —not a second chance
but something like that, why? At first Kate doesn’t recognized him, but she
already knows him. James was Kate’s date for junior promo, so they do know each
other, but that was a long time ago. So yeah, kind of hard recognized him when
he’s changed a lot in many ways, now he’s a sexy, and sexy man. The main plot, was about a fake relationship—so when
James needs a date for his sister’s wedding, the date becomes into a fake
relationship, the more time they spend together, the more they can’t deny the
attraction, and all seems too much.
In general, the characters and the chemistry were
so good! I loved it, even the other characters. The book has dual POV, so you
can know more about them. Both of them have a personality I liked and that you
can see in every page.
Overall, it was a fantastic, sweet, lovely and sexy
romance. A story you should give a chance. Kelly’s writing was pretty good, so
it was a good plus to my read. I highly recommend for those who like a funny
sexy easy-light romance.
Book: +4 stars
